Work Schedule: 10 to 20 hours a week
Education Required: One full year college education; Business, Marketing, Communications or English major preferred.
Minimum Requirements: Must be completing internship for college credit; must have transportation to store; must have an interest in the sport and business of tennis
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience updating websites
• Experience stringing racquets
• Experience in retail sales and sales writing
• Experience in photography and videography
• Knowledge of tennis equipment, technology and trends
• Experience with Search Engine Optimization
Responsibilities/Duties: The right candidate will be a self-starter, able to offer creative solutions and ideas, and very organized. Duties will include assisting with website maintenance, packing and shipping sold items, developing new sales leads, visually merchandising the showroom, racquet stringing, store errands, event planning and some filing. The intern will assist with writing product descriptions, taking photos and shooting video for our new website. The intern will also offer and carry out ideas to improve in-store sales and merchandising. We are looking for creativity, personality and energy. Tennis players and fans are strongly encouraged to apply.
